In the exhibition Conversations with G<\/em> the artists have Ami Norda, Ida-Lovisa Rudolfsson and Christina Sk\u00e5rud<\/strong> have brought their artistic practices together. The exhibition is based on many years of correspondence and conversations about a secret friend - Aunt G. Through play and stories, they try to see her, but also create a dialogue with other important women from history.<\/p>\n

Aunt G moves freely through time and space, and of course she was familiar with Hilda Munthe, Karin Larsson, Emma Zorn and Ottilia Adelborg. Her circle is large and colourful - and it includes us all. That is why Conversations with G<\/em> is done in places that already bear traces of some interesting person, like Hildasholm.<\/p>\n

The three artists have created works that capture this presence in different ways - in painting, collage, textiles and installation. The exhibition will be shown in the big house at Hildasholm<\/strong> in summer 2025.<\/p>\n

Ami Norda<\/strong> is a painter and filmmaker, educated at the University of Photography and Film in Gothenburg. She lives in Orust and has received several major art grants, most recently the V\u00e4stra G\u00f6taland Cultural Grant 2024. Her work is characterised by a dreamlike atmosphere where a thin membrane separates reality from fantasy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ida-Lovisa Rudolfsson<\/strong> is a textile artist with an MFA in textile art from HDK in Gothenburg. She works with storytelling through embroidery and collage and has works represented at, among others, the National Museum and the Gothenburg Museum of Art.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Christina Sk\u00e5rud<\/strong> is a graduate of Valand Academy of Fine Arts and lives in Gothenburg. Her art - paintings, collages and installations - moves between figuration and abstraction and has been shown at several of the country's art museums.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
