Byggnation och arkitektur<\/strong><\/h2>

N\u00e4r Hildasholm uppf\u00f6rdes 1910 anlitade Axel Munthe arkitekten Torben Grut<\/strong>, k\u00e4nd f\u00f6r att ha ritat Solliden<\/strong> \u00e5t kronprinsessan Viktoria och senare Stockholms Stadion<\/strong>.<\/p>

Huset pr\u00e4glas av nationalromantiken<\/strong> och influenser fr\u00e5n den brittiska Arts and Crafts-r\u00f6relsen<\/strong>, d\u00e4r \u00e4kta material och hantverk<\/strong> stod i fokus. Arkitekturen undviker stilblandningar och k\u00e4nnetecknas av rena linjer.<\/p>

Huvudbyggnaden, kallad Steng\u00e5rden<\/strong>, \u00e4r murad i tegel med grov fasadputs, sm\u00e5rutiga f\u00f6nster och ett h\u00f6gt valmat tak med svart glaserat tegel. Tv\u00e5 mindre flygelbyggnader f\u00f6ljer samma stil.<\/p>

Bygget utf\u00f6rdes av sockenbyggm\u00e4stare Hallmans Per Karlsson fr\u00e5n Tibble<\/strong> och stod klart h\u00f6sten 1911 till en kostnad av cirka 40 000 kronor<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
