Welcome to an afternoon of knitting and blooming creativity! We will be knitting
down in Hildasholm's splendid garden for a workshop where you get guidance in
design your own unique patterned mittens.

Using inspiration from the garden or from your own imagination, draw your pattern in a ready-made
template. During the workshop, we'll talk about how you can think about composition, colour choices and how
you get started with the actual knitting.

Yarn and knitting needles to make a sample patch are provided. If you want to start a whole project
based on your pattern, you can bring your own yarn and knitting needles. We use 2.5-3 mm needles and
two-ply wool yarn (e.g. Rauma Finull, Järbo 2-ply wool, Kampes 2-ply)

It also includes a coffee break in the cosy Hilda's café.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced knitters. Together we will find a
the right level for you.

About the course leader

Emelie Bröms, a dedicated knitter with a penchant for multicolour knitting. Emelie holds
regularly organise courses and workshops and collaborate with both Swedish and international
