Visits & Tickets
1. Do I need to book a ticket in advance?
No, you can buy tickets on the spot subject to availability, but we recommend booking in advance to secure your place. Tickets can be purchased online via Ticksters platform.
2. What is included in the garden entrance?
The Garden Entrance gives you access to the gardens and our outdoor sculpture exhibitions. For guided tours of the house, a separate ticket is required and can be purchased via Tickster's platform.
3. Can I cancel or change my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable unless you have added a purchase protection to your booking. In some cases, we can help you move your booking to another date. Please contact us for more information.

Opening hours & Accessibility
4. What are the opening hours at Hildasholm?
Our opening hours vary depending on the high or low season. See current opening hours at our opening hours page.
5. Is Hildasholm accessible for wheelchair users?
The gardens and the café are accessible for wheelchairs, but the house has limited access due to the historic nature of the building. Please contact us for more detailed information.
6. are there parking facilities?
Yes, we have a free car park adjacent to Hildasholm. Charging stations for electric cars are available at various locations in Leksand.

7. Do I need to book a guided tour in advance?
Yes, guided tours of the house have limited places and should be booked in advance.
8. What events are organised at Hildasholm?
We offer concerts, art exhibitions, lectures and themed days throughout the year. See our calendar of events for current activities.
9. Can I organise my own event at Hildasholm?
Yes, we rent out our facilities for weddings, conferences and other events. Contact us for more information.

10. Is there food and drink available at Hildasholm?
Yes, Hilda's Café offers coffee and light lunches during opening hours.
11. Can I book Afternoon Tea?
Yes, Afternoon Tea is served on selected occasions. See dates and book a place here.
12. What is sold in the shop?
Our shop offers books, crafts, garden products and souvenirs connected to Hildasholm.

13. Are dogs welcome?
Dogs are welcome in the garden but must be kept on a lead. However, they are not allowed inside the house or the café.
14. Can I take photos at Hildasholm?
Yes, photography for private use in the garden is allowed. For commercial photography, special authorisation is required.
